University of Greenwich
The University of Greenwich (or more informally known as Greenwich Uni) is a university located in Greenwich, London on the site of the old Royal Naval College. The university was granted university status in 1992 from the then Thames Polytechnic.
The University of Greenwich like most old polytechnics has its strength in practical degrees including engineering, computing, mathematics and business studies. The university has around 25,000 students with approximately 18,000 of them are studying on an undergraduate course leaving around 7,000 students studying on a postgraduate degree course.
